Tell your MSPs to vote for a strong environment watchdog
From 1 January 2021, the EU’s world-renowned environmental protections will no longer apply to Scotland. We urgently need a strong, independent environment watchdog to protect Scotland’s unique nature in the way the EU has done.
The Scottish government’s Continuity Bill contains proposals for establishing a new watchdog. But major omissions mean that unless the bill is strengthened, Scotland’s natural environment will be left at risk.
MSPs at Holyrood have the chance to amend the bill before it becomes law. Tell your MSPs to vote for a strong, independent watchdog to defend Scotland’s people and nature.
